ELEMENTARY CLASSROOM TEACHER

2024-2025 School Year

The Craig County School Board in Virginia is now accepting applications for an elementary teaching position that is available within our division for the 2024 - 2025 school year.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher’s License with the appropriate endorsement to teach at the elementary school level
• Have experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
• Have experience and expertise in using technology in education
• Have experience or working familiarity with Google Drive for instruction, collaboration and course work
• Have effective written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with parents and families
• Demonstrate the ability to be dependable and punctual
• Demonstrate the ability to work and collaborate with a team of other teachers

Salary: 2024-2025 Teacher Salary Scales

 

FLSA: Exempt
