HIGH SCHOOL ART TEACHER

2026-2027 School Year

 

The Craig County School Board is accepting applications for an High School Art Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher’s License with appropriate endorsement to teach art PreK-12
• Have experience in curriculum development and developing lesson plans
• Have experience and expertise in using technology in education
• Have effective written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with parents and families
• Ability to be dependable and punctual

Salary:  2026 - 2027 Teacher salary scale with benefits

 

FLSA:  Exempt
